Dear friends and guests of our small Bella Vista Hotel!

This winter the ski slopes are waiting for us!!! We can finally enjoy the snow-covered mountains again, admire the sunset from the summit and then ski down to the valley. A little break in the ski huts and then continue skiing until our legs can't take it anymore. Winter in South Tyrol is all about safety. Here are the measures for a safe and carefree skiing holiday:

  • access to the ski areas is permitted with the Super Green Pass (2G - vaccinated or recovered)
  • for the closed lifts you need a FFP2 mask
  • a distance of 1 metre must be guaranteed
  • If possible, you should buy your ski pass online
  • The lifts are sanitized frequently and a sufficient ventilation is guaranteed

Gondolas, chairlifts and cable cars are used with a reduced capacity. In refreshment facilities apply the same safety regulations as in bars and restaurants.

No Green Pass is required for children under 12.

With the necessary safety measures, we warmly welcome you to enjoy winter in South Tyrol.

Sledding

For speedsters

Up and down ... in sledding there are no records, but it’s great fun anyway. When the runners go crunch and the snowflakes fly, then the young and the young-at-heart are unstoppable. The sledding trail at Trafoi runs down the mountain for four kilometers along the famous Stelvio/Stilfserjoch Road, accompanied by a lot of cheering and the person in front steering like mad. At the bottom, children's eyes sparkle and all little cheeks are rosy. A hot cup of tea makes the perfect closer to a sledding adventure.

  • Starting point: the end of Trafoi village, at the turn-off for Hl. Drei Brunnen
  • Trail length: 5 km
  • Elevation: 1,640 m to 1,950 m
  • Altitude difference: 310 m
  • Illuminated sled run: no
  • Lift: no
  • Walking time: 1 hour 30 minutes
  • Cost: free of charge
  • Natural sledding trail: yes
