In the Stelvio National Park
A holiday in the pristine nature
Pure nature - no rat race, no stress, just deceleration
Bella Vista – the name itself holds a promise: a wonderful holiday spent with us in Trafoi at an elevation of 1,500 meters, overlooking a spectacular natural landscape. Standing majestically, in full splendor: King Ortler (3,905 m), South Tyrol’s highest mountain. Stelvio/Stilfserjoch National Park, one of Europe’s most interesting protected areas, lies directly at the foot of Mount Ortler. For hikers, the region seems to be straight out of a nature book: beautiful scenery, sparkling streams, plunging waterfalls, blissful tranquility, rolling Alpine meadows and precipitous rocks blanketed with eternal ice. Here you’ll also find wildlife that has nearly been entirely lost: this is the natural habitat of eagles and bearded vultures, ibex and chamois, foxes and hares.
Stefan Zweig once said, “Where Trafoi lies, there gleams a panorama of unforgettable beauty.”
Trafoi is the perfect place to de-stress, to find peace and tranquility in a majestic, pristine landscape: no rat race, no stress, just deceleration surrounded by nature. Trafoi is also the perfect base camp for hiking and cycling. In fact, tours to Stelvio National Park, the Ortler Alps and the Engadine Dolomites start directly from the hotel.
