Relax and unwind

Prad straddles two distinct environments, that of the warm central Vinschgau Valley with its lush orchards and vineyards, while to the south lies the world of glacier-clad peaks, Alpine meadows and coniferous forests with farmsteads set amid steep clearings, seemingly glued to the mountainsides. In all, plenty for energetic holidaymakers to choose from, with the rugged high mountains of the Ortler massif on one side, while on the other the broad valley is open towards Meran, Bolzano and the south. 

Although Prad has changed from the entirely rural farming community it once was to embrace modern artisan industries, the people have retained their original character and Tyrolean sense of hospitality. You are most welcome here.
