Winter - White season

Nature finally slumbers deep beneath a thick white blanket, the snow clad peaks tower sharp against the deep blue sky, below the slopes are alive with figures in brightly coloured clothing weaving their way down the slopes on skis and snowboards. Down in the village this is the time when families and friends love to gather in cosy surroundings. 

A sweet nostalgic atmosphere envelops the place, and although the ski slopes come to life with excited winter sports enthusiasts they are never crowded. Others who prefer solitude amid unspoilt nature step into snowshoe bindings and take off in any direction through the snow-mantled forests and across the gleaming Alpine pastures.
